Environmental data science, built by people who've been in the field.
Terra Laboratories helps environmental teams turn data into decisions. We consult on terrestrial and marine projects, build AI tools for environmental firms, and teach next generation applied environmental data science.
I. Consulting
II. Education
Terra Laboratories is built on three pillars that feed each other. We consult with marine operators, coastal developers, conservation groups, and environmental consulting firms on the analytical problems that don't fit in a spreadsheet - monitoring data, permits, restoration analytics, and the AI tools that make environmental work move faster. We teach applied environmental data science through self-paced courses, live cohorts, and custom workshops, built for field scientists, consultants, and analysts who want to do real work with modern tools rather than abstract theory. And we write - worked examples of public environmental datasets, field notes from the consulting work, and methodology pieces on AI for environmental science, published openly so the community can use what we learn.

About
Terra Laboratories was founded by a marine biologist, data scientist, USCG 100-ton master captain, and adjunct professor of environmental data science. The practice exists because the people who understand environmental science don't always have time to build the pipelines, and the people who build the pipelines don't always understand the science. We sit in that gap - on the boat, in the lab, and at the keyboard.
We break things down into simple, manageable parts so you never feel overwhelmed.
